Biography - John is originally from the western suburbs of Chicago, IL. Growing up, he spent his summers working at his family's machine shop, and through this experience, John learned the basics of metal working and running a business. In May 2010, John received his Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. John has interned at Hamilton Sundstrand in Rockford, IL, BAE Systems in Nashua, NH and United Technologies Research Center in Hartford, CT. At Hamilton Sundstrand, John made significant contributions to the Boeing 787 electric power system experimental and qualification testing. At BAE Systems, John developed and implemented transistor-level circuit models for analysis, and at United Technologies Research Center, he developed models and analyses of aircraft electric power systems. Currently, John is a PhD student at the University of California, Berkeley and is advised by Professor Alberto Sangiovanni-Vincentelli. |
Research Interests - John is interested in the design, modeling and verification of embedded and hybrid systems. Specifically, in developing the methodologies and tools to design and verify such systems. |
